The Chamber's Board of Directors includes 18 members, one-third of whom are appointed by a decree upon the proposal of the minister of economy and trade; the rest are elected by the General Assembly, composed of the affiliated members of the CCIAZ by a secret vote based on a relative majority. The mandate of the members of the Board is four years with a possibility of being re-elected or re-appointed upon the expiration of their mandate. The Board elects among its members a Chairman, two vice-presidents and a financial secretary.
